Case Study – Expert Money Manager

Bringing to market a financial planning system 15 years in the making

Expert Money Manager is a 9-step plan to financial freedom created and perfected by founder Rob Gray over a 15 year period.  Rob’s aim is to share what he has created with people all over the UK – so they can use his innovative methods to become financially free.

The Problem

Rob’s system has taken him 15 years to create – experience you just cannot buy. But whilst he’d put his heart and soul into creating the system, he hadn’t considered his strategy in bringing the product to market. So Rob asked for our help in sharing his vision with consumers across the country.

Our Approach

We quickly bought into what Rob was trying to create and realised the benefits of a system designed to give people control over their finances. Rob had initially devised the system using an excel spreadsheet, but we quickly saw the potential to use our knowledge of SaaS products to bring his vision to life. Using our development expertise and our track record of launching SaaS products, we had soon shaped a business model, vision and route to market for Expert Money Manager. We also helped Rob with his market positioning and customer user experience.

Results

Expert Money Manager is now a bespoke SaaS solution that can be scaled up throughout the UK and beyond. Thanks to our strategy research we’ve created a robust system that’s unlimited in the amount of users it can support.  The pricing model we’ve devised allows users to discover the system when they are in the early stages of the 9-step plan and then purchase extra features as the plan progresses and they become more financially free.  Expert Money Manger is set to launch in Jan 2018 so watch this space for a full portfolio piece on this project!
